For more than 25 years, windows and doors haven’t just been my career they’ve been my life’s work.
My name is Eric Radcliffe and my journey began where few people ever see this industry: in a warehouse, unloading trucks, organizing materials, and learning every product by hand. From there, I moved into new construction, where I learned how homes are built from the ground up and gained firsthand knowledge of what it takes to install windows and doors the right way.
As the industry evolved, so did I. I transitioned into the remodeling side of the business, where every home presented its own unique challenges. I spent years mastering installation methods, understanding building science, solving complex problems, and learning that no two projects are ever the same.
Eventually, I moved into sales, where I discovered that homeowners weren’t simply buying windows or doors they were placing their trust in someone to improve one of their most valuable possessions: their home. That perspective shaped everything I believe about customer service. After becoming one of the top-performing sales professionals in the industry and later leading sales teams, I gained an even deeper understanding of what homeowners truly value: honesty, education, quality craftsmanship, and a company that stands behind its work.
I finally decided it was time to build the company I had always envisioned.
I founded The Window and Door Store because I believed homeowners deserved something better. Better communication. Better craftsmanship. Better products. Better installation. And above all, a better experience.
Our philosophy is simple.
We believe every customer should be treated the same way we'd want someone to treat our own family. In fact, I often ask our team one simple question before every project:
“Would you install it this way if this were your grandmother's home?”
If the answer isn't an immediate “yes,” then we haven't done our job.
